How to get to viridian city?

diglett cave is by Vermilion city, you must return the party to the power plant(assuming you havent done this or havent been there) which is in the gym in cerulean city in the upper left on the cerulean gym hidden in the floaties. Return it to the power plant and then go to the radio tower which i think is located in saffron city. talk to the guy in the hat inside the radio tower to recieve the poke music radio think. go to your pokegear and go to the radio card. move the ball up to the top of the red globe until it says pokeflute. then go to the snorlax and fight it, this will be about your only chance to catch it but its hard not to kill it so save first. if you dont have time just kill it. beware, it has leftovers so it can regain health. when you defeat it, catch it, or flee you will be able to enter the cave.
