Washington State (Seattle): Vacations tips and accommodations suggestions?

okay, you can take a ferry to the san juan islands, i can;t begin to explain how beautiful and fun the san juans are. I've always spent my time in shaw island, but you could go to friday harbor. and it's fun camping you know. but if you aren;t an outdoorsy person then oh well, find a hotel or something and have a boring city, pollutant vacation.
