Does The Snorlax In FireRed respawn?

I was walking down Celadon City with the Poke Flute and ran into the Snorlax. I thought it would be fun to capture, so I fought it, and accidently defeated it. Same thing wotih the Route 12 one. Since I'm trying to compplete the pokedex, i need a Snorlax. So my question is, does it respawn if you killed it?
