Family vacation hot spots in myrtle beach?

planning on going to myrtle beach in july with a 3 yr old and a 1 1/2 year old. besides the beach, what else is there to do with small children? any aquariums, parks, museums etc? also need to find a hotel, so many to chose from...not an expensive resort, with a pool for the kids of course.
