In pokemon sliver is it possible to skip the celadon city gym?

ive done almost all the gyms but for some reason the game wont let me complete that one. i cant get through the maze at the beginning. Not like i cant figure it out i just will not let me walk any were its like all the arches have walls around them and i cant get through. i might have done the gyms out of order or maybe im not supposed to complete that one yet? i have three left including that one.
