Where should I move to in Florida?

Me and my finace are looking to move to Florida. We want to be within a 1/2 an hour to the beach and preferably more South in Florida. I need am finishing up my bachelors degree in education and looking to get my masters so must be near a college. We want to live in a nice and safe community with things to do. So what are some good places?
