What is the BEST hair product that is used to prevent hair from breaking and also used as a detangler?

My hair has been breaking easily and gets tangled very quickly after the shower. I do not want to spend a fortune on a product but if it is expensive and it lasts a long time then I don't mind. I have been using Biosilk on my hair and it works preety well..I am hoping for something better though. Also I want a product that I can leave in my hair when I am at the beach to prevent the sun's damaging ray and as a detangler. Any Suggestions?
